The Vision:
Why a Calvary Chapel Bible College in Germany?

A Divine Passion

There isn't any doubt that God's love and the message of the gospel should go out to the whole world. That is a Divine Passion - and God wants us to share His passion of reaching the world.

Towards that goal, one of the most strategic places on earth is Europe. As the world grows smaller, more and more people from hard-to-reach nations come to Europe and can be influenced there for Jesus Christ. Europe can once again become a great missionary-sending and missionary-supporting continent. As the world comes to Europe, we put our efforts towards two great goals: Awakening Europe and Reaching the World through an awakened Europe.

The Role of CCBC Siegen

God is doing a great work in Germany (and beyond) through Calvary Chapel of Siegen, Germany. As this work continues, there is a great need to train Europeans and Americans to further the work and put efforts where God's hand is evident. There are already two great Calvary Chapel Bible College campuses in Europe - in Vajta, Hungary and in York, England. The work in Germany will be different from these existing works because of both its location and its bi-lingual teaching in both German and English.

The location makes it more accessible to German, low country, and Scandinavian Christians. The bi-lingual character of the school will make it more suited to reach the community of 100 million German speaking peoples in Europe.

In speaking with Christian leaders who see what God is doing in Europe, a common observation is that this is a strategic time of great opportunity. God's evident blessing on the work in Siegen makes it a strategic place to leverage resources to bring in an even greater harvest. One might say that the work thus far in Siegen has yielded a spectacular thirty fold harvest. With continued bold faith and faithfulness, we trust God to see a hundred fold harvest, and we earnestly believe that the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Germany can play an important role in maximizing that harvest.
