About the Calvary Chapel Bible College Germany Internship Program

Goals

  • To provide a “third year” or transition program for those ready to take the next step in practical ministry preparation.

  • An emphasis on practical ministry experience; to learn ministry by doing it.

  • To supplement ministry experience with focused classroom education

  • To provide mentoring relationships

  • To connect interns with European ministries and opportunities for future service

  • To both recommend and place students with ministries and opportunities after the program

Ministry Overview

  • Interns will be assigned a ministry responsibility associated with either the Bible College or with Calvary Chapel of Siegen. In their ministry responsibility, interns should expect to:

Ø     Create and maintain an operational or procedural manual for their area of responsibility

Ø     Take stewardship for any budgetary and financial aspects of their area of responsibility

Ø     Lead and disciple any students who are required to undertake servant hood duties in their area of responsibility

Ø     Raise up and hand over the role to a replacement at the end of your term as an intern.

  • Interns will be assigned a mentor who will meet with them weekly

  • Interns will lead outreaches, both on weekends and during the outreach week of the Bible College

  • Interns will be given the opportunity to teach (if so gifted) in the second half of their program year

  • Interns will be assigned a reading and audio track list and will discuss both readings and audio tracks in the weekly intern meetings
